Dan Nash
Dan is a seasoned executive and founder with over 25 years of investment banking and operating experience. He is currently COO of Columbus Circle Capital (Nasdaq: CCCM).
Under Dan’s leadership from launching in 2021, CCM rapidly scaled as one of the fastest growing firms on Wall Street, with over 110 transactions announced or closed, over $49BN in transaction value, including over $13BN in capital raised. In his tenure, CCM became widely recognized as a one of the most prominent SPAC advisory teams, with 59 DeSPAC transactions announced or closed, and 19 SPAC IPOs.
Most recently, Dan was a Co-Founder, and Head of Investment Banking at Cohen & Company Capital Markets (“CCM”), where he led all aspects of Investment Banking including M&A advisory, private capital markets, SPAC advisory and PIPEs. Under Dan’s leadership from launching in 2021, CCM rapidly scaled as one of the fastest growing firms on Wall Street, with over 110 transactions announced or closed, over $50BN in transaction value, including over $13BN in capital raised. In his tenure, CCM became widely recognized as a one of the most prominent SPAC advisory teams, with 55 DeSPAC transactions announced or closed, and 18 SPAC IPOs. Select transactions included SK Growth merger with Webull, XCF merger with Focus Impact, and Nakamoto reverse merger with KindlyMD and $710M capital raised.
Prior to CCM, Dan was the Global Head of Internet Investment Banking at Wells Fargo Securities, where he advised many leading technology companies on IPOs, acquisitions, SPAC mergers, private placements and debt financings. Dan helped grow the Technology investment banking business significantly at Wells Fargo and was the lead banker on a number of notable transactions including Carvana’s IPO, Shift’s SPAC sale and PIPE, and Rubicon’s Private Placement.
Prior to Dan’s role at Wells Fargo, Dan was the Chief Financial Officer at Machine Zone, a leading mobile gaming company known for its multi-billion dollar hits including Game of War, Mobile Strike, and Final Fantasy XV. Prior to MZ and Wells Fargo, he served as Director of Internet Investment Banking at BofA Merrill Lynch. In this role, Nash worked on a number of high-profile transactions, including the IPOs of LinkedIn, Zulily, The Active Network and Facebook. He also held multiple investment banking and finance positions at BofA Merrill Lynch, Riverstone Networks and Intel Corp.
Dan has an MBA from the Hass School of Business at UC Berkeley, an undergraduate degree in Economics from University of Pennsylvania, and a General Course degree with a focus on Mathematics from the London School of Economics. He lives in Woodside, CA with his wife and four children.
